LEP's are governed under the Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS).  They are authorized to perform any functions pertaining to the academic learning process or the education system or both.  LEP's are licensed to conduct psychoeducational evaluations, diagnose psychological disorders related to learning processes,  administer and interpret diagnostic tests related to academic learning processes  (i.e. academic ability, learning patterns, achievement, motivation, and personality factors), provide psychological counseling (individuals, groups, and families), provide consultation to educators and parents, develop treatment programs to address problems of adjustment, and coordinate and manage intervention of individual crises.

We provide services for children, teens, college students, and young adults (ages 18–25), with support tailored to each stage of development.

We do not accept insurance directly. Families can submit the super-bills we provide for out-of-network reimbursement. Coverage and reimbursement amounts are determined by your insurance plan, so we recommend contacting your insurance company for details.

Yes. A limited number of discounted sessions are available for young adults (ages 18–25), including students or those early in their careers. Please contact us to learn more about availability and eligibility.

Fees will be provided after the initial free consultation. Payments for evaluations is requested in two installments (50% of the payment at the beginning of services with the remainder paid upon receipt of the written report/interpretation of results).  Payment for counseling services is due at the time of the service.

Forms of payment include cash or credit card.

The No Surprises Act was created to give individuals predictability with how much they will be charged for healthcare services prior to their appointment, and to protect individuals from receiving unexpected medical bills.  If you are a self-paying client you have the right to receive a "Good Faith Estimate" of total cost prior to beginning services.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises

At this time, we do not see clients during the weekend.

We strive to be as available to clients as possible.  As a result, appointments must be canceled within two business days notice with the exception of emergencies.

Please be sure to cancel your appointment two full business day (or 48 business hours) prior to the start of your appointment time. If the appointment is not cancelled on time, your credit card will automatically be charged for the full amount of the missed session. ‍

We provide a free 20 minute initial phone consultation. During this time, clients or families are welcome to explain their needs, ask any questions, and express any concerns. From there, you will receive additional information about moving forward, and can decide from there how you would like to proceed.
